Adorable Family Pictures in Tulsa, Ok

Nothing warms my heart more than a good mama. Melinda’s boys couldn’t have been anymore in love with her if they tried! And really, is it natural to look this good only 3 months after having a baby? Probably not πŸ˜‰ All three of them were simply stunning and a dream to photograph! Although she drove to Tulsa from San Antonio to be with family, I like to pretend she endured that 9 hour+ car ride just to see me! HA!

Adorable Family Pictures in Tulsa, Ok

Soooooo to say I simply adore this sweet little family is a gross understatement. Monet {who my phone auto corrects to Money….who I now just call Money!} contacted me a few months ago about doing our second family session together. Her hubby is overseas right now so he wasn’t able to join us BUT the second he gets back we are doing this again! πŸ™‚
Our family session last winter was COLD, windy, and they couldn’t have been better troopers! Sophie tried to smile through the frigid air and Weston was just a tiny baby… I am always so surprised by how quickly my tiniest clients grow!! But this year the weather was GORGEOUS! We caught one of the last days that Tulsa had fall colors left in the ground and in the trees. Sophie, a total firecracker and hysterical, was a dream to shoot. Weston….well. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more “smiley” baby. He is such a happy boy! It was clear everyone was missing Daddy, though. Monet is such an amazing Mom two these two cuties and although having her hubby with her would have been ideal, I know she cherishes the time she has alone with them, and they’re pretty head over heels for their gorgeous Mama!

Do you ever feel possessive over your clients? I shamelessly do πŸ˜‰ Although I respect (and encourage) client autonomy, this is one of my families I simply wouldn’t allow to be photographed by anyone else. I’ve already told Mary that she’s stuck with me and since I know where she lives that there is no point in trying to hide πŸ˜‰ Mary (yet another fabulous nursing client!) and I graduated high school together….only 10 a few years ago…and I’ve always adored her! Her adorable husband, Jason, is active duty US Army. He is my first military man to rock his uniform to a session and I couldn’t be happier about it! I have such a deep respect for military families and everything that they sacrifice. Thank you Jason and Mary!
I LOVE family sessions when you can SEE how much everyone loves each other and the Armstrong family is no exception. I don’t think 5 minutes went by that we weren’t laughing! Ruthie, lucky enough to be her Mama’s mini-me, is very much the adoring big sister. Jack is ALL boy and such a sweetie! And who doesn’t love a family that brings their dachshund?! Pepper totally stole the show.
Mary and I are already planning their next fall family session. We’ve decided that we’ll have to bring a big screen and some beer since we generally do their session on big Oklahoma football game days. See why I love them so much?!

Beautiful Family Field Pictures in Tulsa, OK

I. LOVE. this. family.Β  They are one of the many reasons why I love family sessions so much!
Mandie (a nurse practitioner) was referred to me by another client (also a nurse!) last year.
{side note: I’m not sure what draws so many nurses to hire me but I have an immense amount of nursing clients. I really think nurses are part magic, part awesomeness, and part unicorn. NO ONE is cooler than a nurse in my book!}
This family is not only downright gorgeous, they are an absolute blast! Mandie and her hubby Mack celebrated 10 years of marriage this fall. I lovelovelove being around couples that have put in so much time together are still so obviously happy. It makes my little heart smile πŸ™‚ Their children are clearly products of a happy home… Will is an absolute doll and totally head over heels for his Mama! And Miss Mary….well. She’s one of my favorite sassy little girls!
Mary absolutely MAKES this picture!!!!
Is there anything sweeter than a boy and his dog?
This picture makes me a little sad because I know at our session next year she won’t be little enough to do this. It’s bittersweet watching my tiny clients grow up!

Gorgeous as always! You can feel the love in this family!

Gorgeous Couples Pictures in Tulsa, Ok

No doubt about it, this is my favorite couple ever. I met Tasha through her sister at a photo shoot we did about 2 years ago and we completely hit it off! We started CrossFit together last summer and have been pretty inseparable ever since. She was in on my proposal this summer and will be one of my bridesmaids. Needless to say, when she started dating Ryan (herΒ longtime best friend’s brother….so awesome!)Β I was absolutely over the moon for both of them. They are so fun, loving, laid back, and easy to be around. I was wiping tears from my eyes at this photo shoot from laughing so hard at them. Really all the pictures you see here are the ” in between” shots from them being ridiculous and me threatening Tasha if she didn’t cooperate πŸ˜‰ Whether it’s working out together at CrossFit, our over abundance of double dates, or Tasha slowly turning me into a girly girl (no easy feat) my heart overflows with happiness for these two people that I simply adore. It’s rare that you meet a couple that you 1) as a couple get along with SO well and 2) that are clearly meant for each other in every way. They are just as gorgeous on the inside as they are on the outside….and that’s a whole lot of gorgeousness, people.

I really wish someone would have recorded me setting up this shot…I was in tears. It went something like, “Tasha, turn around and hug his arm. No his OTHER arm. Only use ONE of your arms. Not that arm! Now look at me! Ryan, just stand there and look pretty. Tasha, look at ME and stop laughing! Put your left hand at your side. The OTHER side!! THE SAME SIDE!! Pop one of your hips out. What do you mean you don’t know what that means? Move, I’m going to show you how to do it!”Β I LOVE this picture of them. I can’t wait to help them pick out which pictures to blow up and put in Organic Bloom frames all over their home!

Love you both!!!
